The Swedish luxury car group, Volvo, revealed a carefully studied plan that aims to reduce carbon emissions in various models by up to 40% between 2018 and 2025.

This plan comes in light of successive steps by the Swedish group to become one of the companies that do not cause harm to the environment by the year 2040.
The plan is based on the provisions of the famous Paris agreement for climate change, which was concluded during the year 2015 and the conditions and rules revolve around the possibility of stopping global warming at 1.5 degrees Celsius above pre-industrial levels.
The most noticeable step in Volvo's walls is to increase production lines for environmentally friendly electric models, along with some other steps in industry operations through recycling and the use of materials.
The Swedish group had announced earlier that it is seeking to be half the proportion of its sales of electric cars during the year 2025, and stressed that this plan is very important.
In the near future, Volvo will start reducing carbon emissions to 25%, as well as using 25% of recycled plastics in the manufacture of new models.
The Swedish luxury car maker, Volvo Group, has announced the release of the new model which the company described as the best electric car in terms of safety and security.
The new Volvo electric model will be known as the XC40 Recharge, which was officially launched during a major ceremony organized by the Swedish company.
Volvo unveiled the capabilities of the XC40 Recharge engine, and confirmed that it can travel a large distance of 249 miles per charge of the battery, which can be charged up to 80% of its power in just 40 minutes.
The Swedish company also revealed some of the technological features of the XC40 Recharge, most notably the Google Assist smart system, the Google Maps system, and the Google Play online store.
It is worth noting that Volvo has already launched the first all-electric model, known as the C30 Drive Electric, and achieved impressive sales success.
