The overall design of the electric IX3 did not differ significantly from the standard X3, but the electric version got a closed front grille, with a new design of the front bumper, and new sports wheels, and from the back it did not differ much, as nothing has changed from the regular version except Shocking design only, with several blue accents in all aspects of the car, which shows its electric personality.
But one of the most important changes that IX3 got is that it has become 7.5 centimeters less than the regular X3, and the bottom of the car has become more flat, to increase the dynamics of the car, to reach 0.29 "drag coefficient".
The matter also did not differ much in the interior, as there is no significant difference, and certainly the car got the latest version of the iDrive system, and many of the safety systems and new additions.
The power system of the new BMW IX3 electric
The IX3 was powered by a single electric motor of 286 horsepower and 400 Nm of torque, which transmits power to the rear wheels only, enabling the IX3 to accelerate from 0-100 km / h in just 6.8 seconds, and reaching a top speed of 180 km / h.
IX3 is provided with a package of 80 kph batteries, which enables it to travel a distance of 460 km per charge, and 80% of the battery can be charged in just 34 minutes, using a 150 kW charge, and BMW also stated, that the 10 Minutes of charging enable the car to travel 100 km.
The date of availability of the IX3 electric in the market
As we mentioned before, the new electric IX3 is the product of cooperation between BMW and Brilliance Automotive of China, so the car will reach the Chinese market first later this year, and then in the rest of the global markets, and the company announced that it has not Plans to launch IX3 in the US market so far.
