  • The improved WR-V will be offered in two models - SV and VX - and will feature BS6 diesel and petrol engine options. Agency sources indicated that a model with higher specifications could cost Rs 13.5 lakh (along the way). In the meantime, reservations have already started with a minimum cost of Rs. 21,000.

  • Most of the design updates for WR-V have been improved on top. The redesigned front grille and the new LED headlights for DRL LED headlamps give an air of freshness and also increase its presence on the road. The diesel variants take advantage of a new set of 16-inch alloy wheels, while the petrol variants have to take advantage of the old design. The new LED taillights are the only modification in the rear.

  • Aside from the redesigned interior trim, the improved WR-V interior remains largely in line with the previously refined model. In terms of functionality, the improved WR-V features a touch-screen infotainment system (now expected to include Android Auto and Apple CarPlay), climate control, speed control, sunroof, keyless access with a power button and multi display -information. On the safety front, it comes with dual airbags, ABS with EBD, rear parking sensors and a rear view camera.

  • The advanced WR-V continues to use the current 90 bhp 1.2 bhp petrol engine and the 1.5 bhp 1.5 bhp diesel engine, both upgraded to meet BS6 emission standards. Just as before, the petrol engine is offered with a 5-speed manual gearbox while the diesel engine continues to use a 6-speed manual unit.

  • The improved WR-V is expected to be launched in the coming days. The trumpets will be closed with Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza, Tata Nexon, Ford EcoSport and Hyundai Venue. The previous model was priced from Rs 8.08 to Rs 9.95 (previous showroom). With a makeover, WR-V petrol prices are expected to rise by around 15,000 rupees, while WR-V diesel is likely to become more expensive than around 50,000 rupees. Is an WR-V call updated for you?
